Make Your Community Your Valentine This Year: Becoming Relational with Elizabeth Gillette, LCSW S1E5
Hi there! I’m so glad to be with you today.
Becoming better at relationships doesn't just mean intimate partnerships--it's also about how you show up for your community and support your neighbors. What if you made your community your Valentine this year?
In this brief episode, I'm talking about the tradition my family established a few years ago that we do together on Valentine's Day. For me, this day is more than flowers and chocolates. It's an invitation for my family to practice loving on our neighbors and people we don't know, because becoming relational also means becoming community-oriented.
What might you do this year to support people in your neighborhood? Can you start a new tradition that you will look forward to that also positively contributes to your community? I would love to hear what you come up with--please email me and let me know! hello@elizabethgillette.com.
