  • discuss the foundational tools needed to heal anxious attachment

  • provide scripts and suggestions for healthy communication in relationships to reduce anxious attachment experiences, including communicating needs effectively, choosing the best time to have a tough conversation, celebrating when things go well, and processing effectively when they don’t

  • provide downloadable worksheets full of practices to increase self-soothing, resilience, self-esteem, and boundary-setting

  • support you in becoming aware of lifelong patterns and addressing them effectively using a combination of video, audio, worksheets, and practices that will serve you in healing yourself and your relationships

This course is PACKED with information to support you on your healing journey.

A comfortable couch in Elizabeth’s Heirloom Counseling Asheville office with a cheery knitted blanket and comfy pillow on it. Beside it is a worn wooden side table with vintage books stacked on top.

Here is what people are saying about the Healing Anxious Attachment Online Course:

Elizabeth’s teaching presence created a brave space for me to discover within myself that I have all the wisdom needed to self soothe my own anxiety, the self reflection to advocate for my own boundaries, and the skills to resolve conflict so that I can create the kind of loving relationships I’ve always dreamed. I feel less anxious that the loved people in my life will fail me and that has helped them love me more freely. My life and relationships are changing for the better with the space to heal and resources that Elizabeth has shared with me. Her own story toward healing and becoming more secure helped me believe that I can too. I can’t wait to witness the kind of secure, loving and free person I will become once I’m further along on my healing journey.

How has this supported me in having healthier relationships? Hearing you say I’m loveable because I am human and I am worthy. That was profound. It has served as a good reminder to prioritize activities and practices that make me feel good. It has slowed the momentum of tough conversations because I believe now that there isn’t just something wrong with me. I didn’t choose my attachment style but I can consciously change it now and that gives me space in conversations I didn’t have before.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for providing the rich resource that is the Healing Anxious Attachment Online Course. It has been an indispensable tool in my exploration of attachment. I discovered your work and powerful guidance through an Instagram hashtag and I am forever grateful. The “Understanding Your Worth” video left a huge impression. It spoke to a feeling of inadequacy I’ve carried through even into my healthiest relationship to date. I have watched that video many times and I will be re-watching many of the other videos again and again. Thank you for granting unlimited access. What a gift! I appreciate your breadth of knowledge and compassion. Thank you so much!

Section 2: What is anxious attachment and how does it develop? Topics include characteristics and positive qualities of anxious attachment, a worksheet on rethinking anxious attachment, and an exploration of what helps develop a secure attachment relationship.
